As we go about our lives, there are three main places we can get stuck. From the outside, your life is pretty great. There’s a lot going well and how it looks is that you have it all together, but how it feels is that you’re stuck.
You might be stuck in the busy stressfulness. You’re drowning under an endless pile of things to do, anxious and overwhelmed with no time for yourself. You’re spread too thin, struggling to make everything fit, and feel like you’re being pulled in a million different directions – between work, family, home and the life admin, something’s always taking a hit, and you feel guilty whatever you do.
You might be stuck in uncertainty. You’re at a crossroads, you don’t know what you want anymore, or you’re having trouble figuring out how to keep going or move towards what you do want. Decisions feel big and hard to make. You don’t want to make the wrong move. You’re not sure what the next best step is. You can’t see a clear path.
You might be stuck in low confidence. Maybe it’s been holding you back all your life, or maybe life knocked the confidence out of you. Deep down you know you’re capable of more, but you hold yourself back with perfectionism and procrastination, you compare yourself to others and worry what people think of you. You get stuck in overthinking and struggle to make headway.
You could be stuck in the busy stress, the uncertainty, the low confidence, a combo, or all of them. Wherever you’re stuck, you feel lost, frustrated, like your life is on hold. There’s nothing wrong with you. These sticking places are easy to get caught in, and there’s good news – we can get you unstuck.
You don’t need your life around you to magically change (you really don’t). You need the mindset to start moving and the skillset to keep going. When we work together, we’ll change your thinking – that’s what’ll get you moving, and you’ll learn how to regulate your emotions and your nervous system so that you don’t stall or get stuck again. Here’s how it goes:
The first thing we’ll do is identify the thoughts keeping you stuck. Yes, the thoughts. It’s not actually your demanding job, difficult boss, endless to-do list, or past setbacks holding you back. There are practical hurdles that you’ll have to overcome, but the biggest obstacles in our way are always the ones inside our own minds. I’ll help you knock down those mental hurdles and develop an intentional way of thinking that has you feeling confident, clear, and ready to move.
At this point you’ll be clear on what you want and we’ll start going after it. You’ll start taking decisions and making moves, with your thinking holding you up rather than holding you back. I’ll help you to decide quickly and confidently, and I’ll be right there with you through every step and any setbacks.
Once you’re moving, we’ll need to make sure you can handle the emotion of it all. We don’t want fear, disappointment, embarrassment, doubt, or anything else stopping you in your tracks. Emotions are part of it, and I’ll help you develop the skill of engaging with and processing them, so they don’t overpower you.
We also need to take care of your stress responses so they don’t stop you. To keep moving, you need to feel safe, and that’s all about your nervous system. I’ll help you understand how your individual nervous system operates, and to tune into and regulate it. That way instead of getting stuck in either overwhelmed busyness or burnt out hopelessness, or swinging between the two, you’ll find the grounded sense of safety you need to keep making progress.
Through this whole process, we’ll be working on the most important thing of all: how you see yourself. We’ll explore the identity you’re currently operating from, and create a new one that I’ll help you step into. This new identity isn’t actually new – it’s already inside you. It’s the voice that’s whispering to you about what more is possible. It’s the version of you that has reached your potential and is no longer stuck. I’ll help you find and become that version of you. That’s how you get unstuck.
When you unstick yourself, your life opens up and the possibilities are endless. Here’s what typically happens:
You feel more in control of your life. You know what you want – you have clear goals and plans to achieve them. If you want a new job or a promotion you’re going after it. If you’ve been dreaming about career change you’re making the moves to make the dream a reality. Your personal goals are also in sharp focus and increasingly within reach, whether they’re about your health, strength, or wellbeing, or to do with your family or relationships.
Your stress levels drop. You stop spending your days rushing around and your evenings crashing out. Instead you feel steadier and more present. You take time for yourself. You go to the gym. Or do the yoga. You read books, or watch Netflix, without feeling guilty (guilt isn’t actually inevitable). You find yourself laughing more. You’re actually having fun.
You feel confident, sure of yourself. You start speaking up at work. You ask for what you want in your personal life. You set professional and personal boundaries and are surprised how easy it is. You start getting things done that you’ve been putting off for years.
Things really start to happen for you. You make real progress in your career. You deepen connection in your relationships. You experience your life more fully and everyone around you benefits from the best version of you.
You stop missing out on your life. You stop piling up regrets. You reach your potential instead of holding yourself back.
I work with clients privately for 12 x 1:1 coaching sessions at a time.
We’ll meet online weekly because consistent momentum is key to getting unstuck: we address obstacles as they come up and you keep moving forward. 12 sessions gives us time to work through the full process together and create real, lasting change. We’ll have gaps for holidays (I’m a fan of holidays).
The fee is £2,000 if paid upfront, or you can split it into 3 monthly instalments of £700.
When I was stuck, I was really, really stuck – in all the places. Twenty years into my career, I couldn’t see a way to change, was drowning in the busy stressfulness with no time for myself between work and my young family, and my already fragile confidence had had the sh*t kicked out of it by life, so that wasn’t helping.
What did help was working with a life coach. That’s how I found a way out of the stuckedness and why I know there is one. Today I prioritise myself, can create the confidence to do whatever I want to do, and run my own successful business helping other people get unstuck.
In terms of the official stuff, I trained and certified with the Life Coach School, and am also a certified Time Hacker coach (that’s all about time optimisation and productivity so it’s how I help you get unstuck fast). My coaching style is shaped by my background as a charity CEO and 1,500+ hours of coaching experience – I help you be strategic about your life while feeling fully supported.
I was at a point in my life where I had a real need for change. I felt isolated working from home, stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and constant self-criticism. My confidence had taken a nosedive and I’d lost sight of my own strengths and worth. The changes I’ve noticed are huge. I’m much kinder to myself, and where I once shied away from opportunities, now I’m more willing to put myself forward. Taking that first step was the best investment I’ve ever made in myself. I genuinely didn’t expect the shifts would be so deep or lasting, and I’ve come away with tools and confidence I’ll keep for life.

I’m not entirely sure how Sarah managed to undo over a decade’s worth of negative thoughts about my career, but she did. 3 months later, I am enjoying my career much more. I feel like I did when I was in my 20s; keen to show off my talents and up for the opportunity. Sarah is the warmest, loveliest, most profoundly thought-provoking person I have met in a long time, and I would thoroughly recommend her as a coach.

Within a few sessions I was back in touch with what I wanted, understood and owned the choices I was making, and also understood that I was in control of my thoughts and feelings and not at the mercy of everyone around me. I set boundaries, began to show myself understanding and compassion, and things I’d been putting off for years became achievable. Despite at first thinking that coaching was a luxury for which I couldn’t find time or the money, I cannot imagine giving it up now, and it is hard to put a price on something which has genuinely had a transformative impact on so many aspects of my life.

I highly recommend working with Sarah. I learned so much over our sessions, going from feeling sad, stuck and uninspired to becoming my own catalyst for change. The work we did to clear out limiting beliefs and build my confidence meant that I achieved my main goal of securing a new job within 3 months, and not only that but my whole world has opened up.
Sarah
Working with Sarah was truly transformational. When we started I felt overwhelmed by the diverse stresses of life, and that I was failing to be the partner, mum, friend and colleague that I wanted to be. I felt angry and volatile. Now after our sessions, I feel content, steady, and able to support myself through life’s inevitable ebbs and flows.

Sarah is one of the most perceptive and reflective professionals I have ever worked with. With her guidance, I unearthed the root causes of unhelpful thoughts that have held me back for years – affecting work life, mental health and interpersonal relationships. Sarah’s sessions have a long-term, sustainable impact on your life. I’m so grateful for the time we spent together and would highly recommend Sarah to anyone wanting to make powerful, long-term shifts in their life.

Ready to get unstuck? You know what happens if you stay where you are. You stay where you are. Time moves on but your life doesn’t. Not really. Not in the way you want it to. You can do that – you can stay where you are. Or you can move. You can start a process that will open things up and bring clarity, confidence, and real progress.
The first step is to fill in a short application. This helps me understand where you’re at and what you’re looking for, so I can see if we’re a good fit to work together. If we are, I’ll invite you to a free consultation call so we can dig in and explore how I can help you specifically and answer all your questions.
